Guidance

It is our goal at Berean Christian School to provide appropriate academic, social and spiritual guidance at every grade level. The elementary teachers and elementary supervisor handle guidance in Grades K-5. This would include help class/tutoring for students who are struggling academically, ESE referrals for students with specific learning disabilities, filling out recommendation forms for students who are transferring to another school, standardized testing, scheduling as well as Biblical counseling for social and spiritual questions or needs. Grace Fellowship, the sponsoring church for Berean Christian School, also has family counseling available through Pastor Tony Novakoski. Middle School guidance counseling is handled predominantly through the Dean of Men's Office. I serve as the guidance counselor for 9th-12th grade. In addition to the areas listed above under general guidance, my office handles transcript requests, college recommendations, college scholarships, scheduling for all 9th-12th graders, college fairs, etc... The Dean of Men, Dean of Women and High School Principal are also available to assist students with academic, social and spiritual guidance.
