"Respect...Watch...Teamwork...
These are the three keywords of the Music department at Berean Christian School. Students at BCS study music through the unique multicultural curriculum of Remo's World Music Drumming. Through this curriculum students learn to develop interpersonal skills (such as communication and cooperative teamwork) that will make them successful outside of the music lab.
Elementary School students are immersed in a new music curriculum that focuses on the strength of the WHOLE group. Students perform (and sing) complex and fascinating pieces of music from a variety of cultures from around the world. All elementary students are showcased throughout the year.
Junior High School and High School students are involved in a newly expanding program that takes students out of a traditional choir curriculum and prepares them for success in the modern-day world of music. Students study and perform contemporary praise & worship songs, Gospel songs, and songs of edification that are performed by today's leading Gospel & Contemporary Christian artists.
Individual instrument lessons are available through Grace Fellowship’s Exel School of Music. These lessons take place either during or after school and are made to fit both the instructor’s and the student’s schedule. For more information contact Annette Dion at 561-798-9300 x298
