Berean recognizes at times a student may need additional help with their academic endeavors. We offer two options to help families and students during these times.
-
Tutoring: Faculty may offer to tutor students for remuneration at a time that is convenient to both, but which is not during the school work hours of 7:30 AM and 3:30 PM. Please see the list below for teachers, subjects and grade levels.
-
Help Class: Teachers offer help classes for students who may have minor academic gaps or are experiencing academic difficulties. Help classes are by appointment only, and it is the student or parent’s responsibility to set an appointment with the teacher. Some teachers may designate specific standing days to hold help classes but this is voluntary and not a requirement. There is no charge for help classes. These classes can be held before or after school, and it is the responsibility of the student and parent to provide transportation (Student Handbook, page 9).
The below link lists tutoring information by grade level, academic content, teacher, teacher contact information and days available. Teachers have the option of setting remuneration rates and times prior to 7:30 AM and after 3:30 PM on school days. The spreadsheet also lists the standing help classes that currently exist.
If you have any questions related to individual tutoring, you may contact a teacher on the list or the Student Services office at (561) 798-9300, Ext. 280.
