Welcome to the Intermediate School Homepage for Berean Christian School. I join the anticipation of students, parents, faculty and staff as we look forward to another great school year for 2011-2012. Berean Christian School is a Christ-centered academic institution founded on the premise found in the 17th chapter of Acts. We can continue to expect that our students will not only be challenged academically, but be pushed to achieve noble character, to be eager to learn and examine knowledge, and be given every opportunity to develop a strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Our intermediate students participate in a daily selection of academic core courses that are enhanced with additional opportunities to include electives in art, music, computers, and Physical Education. The intermediate students are challenged beyond that of the elementary level students with participation in day to day activities that will assist in the development of a strong Christ-centered character and strong peer relationships. We will continue to provide, as we did this past year, additional opportunities for student performance through musical productions and with the introduction of an intermediate choir.
Our intermediate students will also be challenged by their continued involvement in after-school extracurricular activities, as well as an increased participation in the day to day activities, such as the planning of weekly chapel services. The goal of the BCS faculty and staff is to make available all opportunities that would prepare the intermediate student for a successful transition to the Junior High School setting.
As the Intermediate Principal, I anticipate a close working relationship with students, parents, faculty, and staff as we strive to create a Christ-centered, academically-minded, learning environment that best serves the growth of each individual student at BCS. Please know that I am available to serve you and your child with any needs, questions or concerns that you might have concerning their academic progress.
