Guidance

It is our goal at Berean Christian School to provide appropriate academic, social and spiritual guidance at every grade level. The Elementary/Intermediate teachers and Elementary/Intermediate Principal handle guidance in Grades K-6. This would include help class/tutoring for students who are struggling academically, ESE referrals for students with specific learning disabilities, filling out recommendation forms for students who are transferring to another school, standardized testing, scheduling, as well as Biblical counseling for social and spiritual questions or needs. Junior High guidance counseling/scheduling is handled by the Dean of Men. The Dean of Women handles 9th -10th grade guidance counseling/scheduling and I serve as the guidance counselor for 11th and 12th grade. In addition to the areas listed above under general guidance, the guidance office handles transcript requests, college recommendations, college scholarships, college fairs, etc... The Dean of Men, Dean of Women and Secondary Principal are also available to assist students with academic, social and spiritual guidance.
