Each year BCS High School students take part in community service and mission projects during our Mini-mester week. This year’s Mini-mester found our 10th graders and other select high school students serving the surrounding Palm Beach community through various projects. The projects included painting four homes through the Paint Your Heart Out program sponsored by the Solid Waste Authority, the removal of 540 pounds of trash from the Royal Palm Beach Pines Natural Area, and teaming up with Urban Youth Impact to clean up and learn about how social issues have created the need for outreach here in our own community. It was a week of hard work in the sun, but proved valuable in the experiences and blessings of being a servant. As a community of believers, we thank the Lord for the many blessings that he continues to pour out and the lessons that we continue to learn in service to others.
